Annette Select A's Capture Two EBA Championships!

It's been an exciting season of Annette Select baseball! Annette fielded four competive teams in four Select divisions in the Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA). All of the teams performed well in their EBA playoff games, with two of the teams capturing EBA Championships and three teams qualifying for Baseball Ontario Provincials!

13U Select 
Trailing Bloordale Green 6-5 in the bottom of the 7th (and final inning), the 13U Selects were down to their final strike in the deciding game of the EBA championship final. They battled back to tie the game with a two out double to left field, and then two batters later drove in the winning run with a hit to right field to win 7-6.

11U Select 
The 11U Selects went undefeated in their EBA playoffs at Pelmo Park to capture the EBA championship. After defeating Martingrove 9-7 in the Sunday morning semi-final game, they beat Bloordale 7-5 to win the title.

9U Select 
The 9U Selects played Royal York White in their EBA playoffs semi-final game. It was a tight game until Royal York White scored five in the late innings to defeat Annette 12-7. With a semi-final appearance, the 9Us secured a spot in Baseball Ontario Provincials.

15U Select 
The 15U Selects also made it to the semi-final game of their EBA playoffs. Battling Bloordale Green in a close game, Bloordale was able to score multiple runs in the 7th inning to defeat Annette 16-5. Unfortunately, the 15Us will not be competeing in Baseball Ontario Provincials.
