OUR HISTORY
1988
Annette Baseball begins as a city-run recreational program, supported by volunteers, and it fields 2 Rep teams (ages 9-13). Over a ten year period its baseball programs grow incrementally, for more age groups, and its teams win many city championships.
1998
We construct a batting cage in Ravina Park
1999 - 2002
We forge partnerships with numerous baseball organizations to expand playing opportunities for our players.
2002
Our Pee Wee girls' AAA Rep team win the Ontario Championships.
2003
We run the Annette Recreation Centre T Ball program for the City, and we introduce the game of Blastball to our 3 to 5 year olds.
2003
We help field a AA Major Pee Wee Team that wins the City Championship and battles its way to the Baseball Ontario Finals.
2004
We expand our executive from 5 to 17 and we create a website. In the span of approximately 16 years our enrolment has grown to over 400 players. Annette Baseball has weathered the storm of declining baseball registration that has plagued North America since the mid 1990's. Our numbers are growing again. We remain as one of the larger baseball organizations in Toronto.
