ABOUT ANNETTE PEE WEE- 2008

The Playing Season
Games and practices will be in Ravina Park on Tuesday evenings at 6:15pm, and Saturday mornings at 10:15am in May and June. No Saturday games or practices are scheduled in July and August. We understand summer weekends can be busy for Peewee age players and their families. Players are welcome to sign-up – and encouraged to take part in games and practices when they can. The Peewee season will begin on Tuesday, April 28th and finish on the league’s Championship Day in mid-September. Players receive a full uniform that includes hats, jerseys, pants and socks. Players also receive team and individual photos as well as trophies at the end of the season.

The Game
Our Peewee program is a great way for boys and girls who have always wanted to play baseball to get into the game. First-timers will learn fundamentals like catching, throwing and hitting. Annette Baseball has a fully equipped practice facility at Ravina Park that includes a batting cage. For experienced players, the Peewee program offers an opportunity to develop their baseball skills. Practices are designed to take fielding, pitching, batting and base-running to the next level.
Baseball strategy also comes into the game in Peewee. Experienced players will also be challenged by the bigger diamond, and big league rules.
